BASIC Program to Mutli-IO EEPROM

Hi All,

Can anybody help me save the current basic program to the EEPROM. I can't quite figure out the right memory address to copy to the EEPROM.

Thanks,
Chris

BASIC Program to EEPROM

Hi!

I'd like to copy a basic program I wrote to the EEPROM(MULTI/IO BOARD), but I'm not sure what memory locations to copy.

Also, can I run basic programs directly from the EEPROM?

Re: Just the @ Symbol

Let me know if you see anything in the scan.

Do you need my address to send the EEPROM or do you have that on file?

Re: Just the @ Symbol

Would you be willing to send me another 27C64 just to rule it out? I could pay for it if necessary.

Re: Just the @ Symbol

I've replaced the 6502, 6821, 74LS138, 74LS00, 74LS04 chips and it still won't reset. (I guess that leaves the EEPROM.) All roads point to a problem with my soldering, but I still can't find it. I do see 1mhz on pins 37 and 39. The address lines are all switching at various rates in the 100 kHz rang...

Re: Just the @ Symbol

I wish there was a simple way to see if the chips were working. I just ordered some chips (6502,6821,62256,74xx) from jameco to replace the ones I have.

Just the @ Symbol

I just put together the replica I TE revision 3. I only get the @ symbol when I turn it on. I made one mistake when I was soldering and put the ASCII keyboard socket in the place of the 74LS138. I tried to remove it but couldn't with the tools I have (only solder wick), so I left it in place because...

Re: APPLE I FPGA

The issue with the apple ii is that the ROMs and software are not free.

APPLE I FPGA

It looks like a university student has recreated almost an entire apple ii on a single FPGA.

http://www.cs.columbia.edu/~sedwards/apple2fpga/

It might be an interesting project to build an entire Apple I on an FPGA.

Just a thought....

Re: Coffee Pot Control

I just purchased a MOS 6522 VIA chip which adds both parallel IO capability and timer functionality to 6502 systems. This should allow me to do everything I was interested in.

I'll keep you posted...

Coffee Pot Control

I just purchased a replica i, and I'm anxiously waiting to build it. I was thinking that I would use it to turn on a coffee pot after a user specified amount of time. How difficult would this be? Does the apple I keep track of clock ticks? Would I have to divide down the 1Mhz clock and use it to tri...
