Re: Reviving the SWTPc single board computer

I just noticed this. I would be very interested in this kit. I built one of the original 6800-based SWTPc computers and would love to recreate that experience. Please me put me down for a kit when you're ready to sell! Can't wait!!

Re: SWTPcsbc 6809 was: Maybe a new kit coming soon

Hi Vince,

Kansas Fest is over now. Have you resumed work on the SWTPc 6809 kit? I'm looking forward to it! :-)

Re: SWTPcsbc 6809 was: Maybe a new kit coming soon

Hi Vince, Someone just pointed me to your SWTPc 6800/6809 project and I have to say I'm really excited about this. I built one of the SWTPc 6800 systems back when they first came out and still have it along with a 6809 board that I bought for it later. I never got a floppy system working with it tho...

Re: expansion board and 6532 board now available

Is there a description of the 6532 board somewhere? I couldn't find it on the Micro-KIM page. If I plug in both the 6532 board and the 32k RAM expansion board can I address all of the various RAM space?

Re: ZiCOG?

Thanks for your response, Vince. I've talked to the ZiCOG guy a bit and he was interested in doing a front panel as well. I suggested he get in touch with you about buying your front panel PCB and try to interface it to his ZiCOG emulator. In the meantime, I should order a MicroAltair and play with ...

Re: ZiCOG?

Any comments on this Vince? I guess there are actually several Z80 emulators that run on the Propeller. ZiCOG is one and it seems a new one people are using is qZ80. On the other hand, I think I read in another thread that you're already using all 8 COGs on the Micro Altair Propeller. What are they ...

Re: Vintage Computer Festival Midwest workshop

How did the workshop go? Did anyone finish the entire kit? I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend but I'm sure everyone who did had a great experience. I've done two workshops with Vince and they were both fabulous.

ZiCOG?

I have what might be a dumb question. The Altair 8800 Micro has a Propeller chip in it to handle terminal functions, right? Is there any reason you couldn't have dispensed with the AVR chip entirely and just used one of the Z80 emulators that run on the Propeller? I guess you'd have to modify it to ...

Re: Vintage Computer Festival Midwest workshop

Do you have any more information on this workshop? It doesn't seem like much is happening with VCF Midwest. They still have only one speaker listed on their web page. How does one sign up for the workshop?
