If you are interested in TRS 80 Model 100s, there is a club dedicated specifically to them which sells refurbished units. I bought mine from them and they are a good group that are all about support. I hope this...

You would be able to flip a switch and the machine would run at a slower speed so the lights would blink at a more appealing rate. It would definitely improve the wow-factor. ...

Dear Vince,

It might be nice to add a LED Output Port like on an Imsai.

Hello, I tried loading the asteroid game and found it wouldn't work on my micro-kim. A little digging later, and I found that the game was trying to use the timer on the 2nd 6530. I swapped it to the other timer and I was up and running. The mod changes the two bytes as follows: 0280: 46 0283: 47 Al...

Hello, I borrowed an IOGEAR GUC232A, and it seems to be working, except that it doesn't like anything over 110 baud and the character delay needs to be at 75ms to send and recieve papertape format. I'll try to find a computer with a RS-232 port to see if the slow speed is from the adapter or a bad s...

USB to RS232

Hello,

I just finished building my Micro-Kim and I need to pick up a USB to RS232 adapter. I saw on the forum that some people were having trouble getting some of them to work and I was wondering which models or brands work well and which don't. Thank you for your help.
