Tracking info is sent via paypal. Tracking was provided all the way to my office in Canada, so when it left the U.S. it was still being tracked. :) Pretty sure if you did not receive tracking info, then it may not have been sent yet... If you work out of a central office and do your travelling from ...

Welcome to the club. :) first off you might wish to get a 9 volt wall wart, the Briel Computers download section for the Altair 8800 micro has a manual with a parts list, so you know what size barrel on the 9 volt power adapter, any 2 amp wall wart should do that is a switching power supply wall war...

Have you emailed Mr. Briel directly? He's very good at at responding.

When I purchased my kit in May, it was shipped out in a day or two from the day I ordered...
I got a notification from PayPal with tracking info etc.

Memory Protect switch usage?

i was wondering which bank of ram or page does the memory protect work with... I tried to use it in zero page ram with address switches all off, I turned on protect, but I was still able to deposit entries into memory. Just wondering how it's used, in real altair fashion.... Hello, I just recently ordered a Altair 8800 micro kit. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what size the LED's are in millimeters. Standard Serial? PS/2 is not standard serial, it has a clock, data, ground, +5 volts. Standard serial would have something like RX, TX, RTS, DTS and GND that sort of thing... :) if it is serial and has TX and ground line, then you could use it connected to the serial port assuming the voltage levels...
