Re: news about Vince ?

It seems that Vince tends to disappear from the forums from time to time, but he comes back again. I don't know why. His last post here was in July.

Re: expansion card ?

Not that I know of. What did you have in mind - maybe something similar to the original Ohio Scientific 610 expansion board that added support for a floppy drive? There was some discussion here about ways to add a floppy drive.

Re: Replica 1 TE

Yes, that adaptor should work (it looks identical to the one I use). I don't believe there is any newer official firmware. Don't use the Propeller firmware for the Replica 1 TEN or Replica 1 Plus as the hardware is different. Here is a link to the latest CD: http://www.brielcomputers.com/files/repli...

Re: 16K replica 1 plus rom image?

Click on Downloads on the main page for this site and you will find a link for "Current replica 1 plus CD". It should be included there. I haven't checked as I do not have a Replica 1 Plus.

CC65 C Compiler/Assembler

Just an FYI: Support for the Ohio Scientific C1P computer (which the Superboard /// replicates) was recently added to CC65, which is a 6502 cross-assembler, C compiler, linker, and other tools.
See http://www.cc65.org/ and http://cc65.github.io/doc/osi.html

Re: Superboard 3 Case

As a simple solution, I mounted a piece of plastic on the board using nylon standoffs. Some more details can be found here:

Re: Programs from The First Book of KIM

Just an FYI: I don't own a Micro-KIM but I have a real KIM-1 and I have been entering source code for the programs from The First Book of KIM. You can find it at https://github.com/jefftranter/6502/tree/master/asm/KIM-1/TheFirstBookOfKIM. These versions build using the CC65 6502 assembler. Paper tap...

Re: Superboard Assembly

Other than the instructions in the manual, I found that the orientation of the clip seemed to matter, and I needed to leave some slack in the wires and not mount it tight to the board or the switch may be activated. See the attached picture.

Re: My Kit Arrived

As well as the YouTube videos https://www.youtube.com/user/jefftranter (I've made three of them now), I have been making some posts to my blog http://jefftranter.blogspot.ca about my experiences with the Superboard ///.
