Finished my Kit!

Today I have finished the construction and testing of my Replica 1 kit :) It all appears to work as it should, I can load BASIC, the Krusader program and examine memory locations with the Woz Monitor. I had a play around with all of them and got some good results, although the power switch seems to ...

Missing parts help

Hi all, I got my kit in the mail yesterday and im very impressed with the kit, I checked the inventory list and so far I appear to be missing three 3.3k resistors, and I can't see any of the screws. The resistors I can easily get from the hobby shop but I was just curious about the screws, what size...

When will my delivery arrive?

Hi, my replica 1 kit was dispatched on the 12th of august and estimated delivery was 2 weeks, I understand customs can hold a package for as long as they wish, but the time it has took has me a bit worried, did anyone else order from the UK and if so how long did it take them to get their package? I...

Re: Coffee Pot Control

Hey, I'm not too sure how to go about doing this, but I'm sure it is very possible as the replica is a very modifiable kit!
Good idea you have, if you make any progress please keep us updated :)

Power supply questions

Sorry to fill the forums up with my nagging questions, soon I hope to make up for it with information and pictures on the kit and the "authentic" all in one wooden case I intend to build for the kit but: Do you guys normally use an ATX power supply or a wall wart? If so, what voltages and ...

Case design Idea

Here is a very basic sketch I drew up today whilst thinking about how I could make a case for my replica kit when it arrives, trying to go for a retro "all in one" kit, kind of like the imacs of today I apologize about my drawing skills, but hopefully it will give you a brief idea; http://...

Re: Replica 1 Case(s)

When my kit arrives, I'm intending on making an an authentic wooden case, but having the monitor enclosed in the case as well (a 15 inch CRT) It won't be totally authentic but it should look quite retro and fitting! I don't know of anyone who sells or manufactures cases for them, but a trip to your ...

Re: Getting into BASIC

Thank you both for your informative replies, it cleaned up a lot of questions I had. Sorry to sound like a beginner, but I'm trying to learn all this hex stuff and memory addresses, I was hoping the replica i would help me do that, and so, i wonder why E000R has to be typed into the system when star...

Getting into BASIC

Hello, I've ordered my kit and it will be shipped soon, was just checking out some videos on youtube and I see people type something like 1000R or similar to load various things, and to enable the use of BASIC, I'm not fully sure what is going on, once the kit is switched on for the first time, what...
