Re: Krusader 1.2.1 ACIA...

Thanks to Ken I was able to port Krusader to use ACIA in just an hour. He told me to change the two subroutines for getting a char and to print a char and that is pretty much what I did. The code is fairly big so I'm not posting the source.. Can you show what changes and additions you made to the s...

Great to see the source of Krusader to be included!

Can anyone (Ken?) advise me what macro assembler to compile Krusader with? I like to adapt it to the Micro-KIM. A perfect tool!

Just a note: Check the code for useage with the 128bytes of 6532 RAM. If it uses that RAM, the bugfix will need to be applied. I hate errors but at least there is a fix. I tested the original version that loads at 2000 and that appears to work with the RAM card. Vince Confirmed, the original versio...

I have applied both fixes, nice pictures! Alas, I lost the serial interface, the keypad works fine with all fixes So I reversed the changes and found out: 1. the first fix A6 to 74LS138 pin 1 is fine, serial works 2.the cut at pin 10 and connect between pin 9 and 10 of the 74LS00 is fine also, seria...

Basic for the Micro-KIM

The Micro-KIM without memory expansion can use Tiny Basic. When the excellent 32K RAM expansion is added teh KB9 Microsoft Basic runs fine. But there is a perhaps more interesting option: EHBasic by Lee Davison. Available in source format, so it must be possible to adapt to the KIM-1 I/O routines an...

on this page http://sbc.rictor.org/downloads.html you can find a terminal based version of MicroChess with assembler source. An alternative version is here: http://members.lycos.co.uk/leeedavison/6502/ It should be easy to modify it to use the Micro-KIM serial in/output. And also recreate the origin...

TSC terminal games

Some years ago I found a little book with terminal based KIM-1 games. It is called TSC 6502 Games Package 1. To get acquainted with the KIM-1/Micro-KIM again I have scanned the book, and via OCR and some manual correction made the terminal games run on the Micro-KIM (they fit in the standard KIM-1 r...

Re: Micro-ADE Assembler

Has anyone tried Micro-ADE? I have a paper tape version. I've not had any luck with getting past the NEW? prompt. It's a huge listing, so if anyone is interested I'll make it available. Otherwise, the .bin is here: http://www.hansotten.com/binary/kimmicroade.zip Documentation here: http://www.hanso...

Re: New 32K RAM card

Ok, here's a picture of the new 32K RAM card. The 32K RAM board is a very welcome addition to the Micro-KIM! Works great, I could now load Microsoft Basic KB9 (its on my KIM-1 webpage on http://www.hansotten.com) Btw, on the picture in this thread the IC is inserted the wrong way :o Hans
