My new Micro-KIM kit

Postby Micro-K1M » Mar Wed 20, 2013 7:43 am

Hi everybody,
finally my new Micro-KIM is running. :D I would like to thank Vince for his precious help and support during the assembly. For the near future I hope he will offer many new replicas of these ancient jewels, as the fantastic Micro KIM.
Greetings from Italy.

Cheers.

I just joined the ranks of micro-KIM owners as well.
That was a lot of solder!! ...and a ton of fun.

Everything went together smooth and fired up right away.
I'm running the clock demo right now and it's looking good.

I haven't even scratched the surface and I'm loving this thing.

What a great kit!
The boards are top quality. Really disigned very well. Couldn't be happier.

I'm about to start playing arround with termainal mode...

I got mine yesterday, and couldn't resist starting on it. I'm about halfway through the assembly, and can't wait to get back to it tonight.

I must echo the remarks about the quality of the kit. The PC board is top notch... Everything is nice, actually. So far, it has been a joy to assemble.

With a little luck, we'll have my Micro-KIM up and running tonight!

Once the Briel Kit bug bites you just have to have them all. :) Happy Computing!

Yup. Already have one of the early Altair Micros. I love the little guy!
