Pocket Term wall wart

Vince or all,

I'm trying to find a suitable wall wart (power supply) for the pocket term. Can I use 12v or is that too much? 12v supplies are common (I have lots) while 7-9v is not (I have none). What is the maximum amperage? Does someone have a source for something known to work?

Vince, what is the size of the jack used in the PT? Is it 5.5m outer, 2.5m inner? or 2.1m inner? This little piece of information is not in the manual.

I thought I saw a source somewhere here in the forums, but I can't find it now.

Thanks,
Jim

The amperage is not the concern, but at least 300mA is good, the higher the amperage, the more the wall wart can produce if needed. So, there is no maximum, just a minimum. The voltage needs to be 7.5-9 because of the onboard voltage regulator. It CAN go above that but will get really hot. I know I've seen them at Radio Shack and Walmart in the USA. Outside the US, I can't help you much but maybe try and find a multi voltage one with a slide switch, those are pretty common.
