Bad Video Display

Postby Ken » Mar Tue 24, 2009 10:12 am

:( Hi:
I built the pocket term from parts supplied and am having a video problem.

Basicly tearing and some what could be noisey video.

Functionally works fine, video poor.

Purchased your kits (Jack Rubin's order)
Any ideas ?

Have you tried a different monitor? What are you using for a power supply?

Using a LCD flat screen display and a PC power supply (12V). Will try another display tonight, but it works fine with a PC.

Tried other displays and power supplies, same tearing and jumpy video effect. loaded up the new firmware, otherwise works fine.

Found the problem, a bad 10Uf cap on after the regulator. Works great, like the other 3.
