My Text Adventure Game for the Replica 1

Postby tranter » Mar Mon 19, 2012 8:13 pm

I've written a game for the Replica 1. The Abandoned Farmhouse Adventure is a text adventure game in the spirit of similar games that ran on 8-bit microcomputers of the 1970s and 80s or the more ambitious Colossal Cave adventure that originally only ran on mainframes and minicomputers.

The plot and game should be self-explanatory. Figuring it out is the point of the game. You can download it (binary and source) from here: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B54TLl ... aHZQUFBTZw

See some more info and updates on my blog at http://jefftranter.blogspot.ca/

I'd like to hear from anyone who gives it whirl. Were you able to complete it? Was it too easy? Too hard?

Haven't tried your game yet, but I enjoyed reading over your blog.

tranter,
You seem to be rocking the Apple 1 world at the moment with all your new software, games, ports and what-nots.
I've played your adventure game, but I'm still having trouble getting past those damn rats. I will persevere.

Thanks again
