Changing power-on num-lock status

Postby lizardb0y » Jan Mon 23, 2012 6:36 pm

I've bought a small PS/2 keyboard for my 8800micro which has a notebook style numeric keypad built into the normal alpha keyboard when num lock is set. At the moment the terminal defaults to num lock on, meaning I have to turn it off before I can use the keyboard. Is there a way to change the default for this?

Thanks,

With the Terminal v5.1 update you will be able to toggle the NumLock state at startup with Ctrl-Alt-F6 then save settings to EEPROM with Ctrl-F8. Currently this firmware version is out in beta form for the folks that have the 32KB memory + dual RAMDisk expansion card, but for the general release (don't have an ETA yet), all systems that have at least v1.9 of the CPU bootloader (version# on the AUX+A14,A12,A10,A8 boot screen) should be able to run the Terminal and CPU v5.1 updates.

That's great. I'm looking forward to it :)
