Briel Computers specializes in retro hobby computer kits. We started in 2003 with a replica of the first Apple computer the Apple 1. We focus on developing computer kits and boards like those you could purchase in the 1970′s and early 80′s. During this era, computers were very expensive so many people opted to build a computer from a kit and save money. The industry for computer kits was vast and very popular with computer enthusiast of the era. After several years offering kits, we have expanded our lineup to give builders a choice of kits to choose from.
Can’t solder? No problem, we offer assembled and tested units at very reasonable prices. We often host workshops and attend venues where we demo our kits. In the workshops, you get hands on experience building a kit with an instructor in a classroom environment.
