Funny you should mention that. It DOES annoy my colleagues, or at least get their attention. I have one for home and work. Love the things. Also have an original IBM PS/2 version.

Altair 8800 Micro S/N 190 Running!

It's Alive. Had a couple issues (open contact in a ribbon cable and a loose 88-DSK battery connection), but thanks to the forum members, those were resolved. I may have had a flaky 32k RAM, so I replaced those anyway since they are so inexpensive. It was great fun building the kit. At work, I normal...
