Hi there I was wondering if anyone had the .hex file for the atmega8515 on the 88-DSK RAM board.
I am hoping to wirewrap a board for my 8800micro. I should have purchased one with my 8800 kit, but
I wasnt sure i wanted to mess around with CP/M on it. ( I have a commodore 128 and apple //e for that...)
but I was wrong...

If i wanted to purchase the kit now, it would cost 99.00 U.S. plus $55.00 U.S shipping, another $25.00 duties and taxes...
which puts the cost at around $200.00 canadian if not more... I love retro computing, and building kits, but I think that price is taking me over the edge... so unless someone wants to sell me one for less... :)...

Ok back to my original question, i was wondering if anyone had the .hex file and fuse settings for the atmega8515 in the 88-DSK RAM board kit. :) I emailed Vince, but he is pretty busy now adays... i inquired about getting just the bare board, but no responce... :)
(I hope he was not insulted by the request for the purchase of bare board...) :)

At any rate I'm hoping to build the expansion for fun ( wire wrapping my Replica 1plus was fun!) :)

Any help would be great. :)

Cheers. :)

All I have is what came on the CD, which is the same as is available here as Current Altair 8800micro CD: http://www.brielcomputers.com/wordpress/?cat=13
It seems to have the source code and AV Studio project files:

AltairDisk.aps
altairdisk.aws
Disk.asm

Since AVR Studio is free you should be able to use it to build a hex file from the source code.

oh that's helpful, i guess i did not recognize the files...
( more of a hardware geek than software, did not realize what those were... :) )

I have the atmel software on my computer, i should load them and see what i get. :)
( I never use it really, :) )

Thank you Jeff :)
